How to read the New Testament?

The old Testament is difficult to read. 

Best is to start with the new Testament. 
And to start with the book of Luke 

The book of Luke 

Luke is the apostle of the gentiles. 
He adresses non jews. 
His book reads like a narration. 
He also wrote the book of acts. 

Once the book of Luke is red, 
continue with book of acts  

The book of Acts  

And before reading, invoke the Holy Spirit 
To help you understand what is written 

Come Holy Spirit 
Enlighten my reason 
And give me to understand 
What is written
